［동양일보 도복희 기자］라파로페(대표 황기철·사진)가 국방기술진흥연구소가 지원하는 국방벤처센터 협약기업으로 선정됐다. 이번 협약은 국방기술진흥연구소가 국방 분야 핵심 역량을 갖춘 기업을 육성하고 국방 분야 사업 참여를 통한 지역경제 활성화와 자주국방에 기여하기 위한 목적으로 실시됐다. 신규 협약을 맺은 13개 우수 중소·벤처 기업은 충북국방벤처센터로부터 군 사업과제 발굴, 연구·개발비 지원, 전시회 참가와 홍보지원, 기술·경영컨설팅, 기술정보 제공과 같은 국방산업 진출을 위한 프로그램을 지원받게 된다.
천연물 소재 전문기업 라파로페는 기능성 화장품, 생활 화학 안전제품, 반려동물시장 등 연구소와 제조공장을 운영하는 기업이다. 2018년 초기창업부터 ‘국내 1등이 아닌 세계 1등’이 되는 글로벌 도약으로 실행하고자 준비하고 나아가고 있다.
황 대표는 “라파로페가 대한민국 명품인증 이후 연이어 충북 국방벤처 센터와 협약을 체결하게 되어 천연소재연구를 통한 차별성 있는 제품으로 보다 더 피부 개선에 앞장서는 기업이 되겠다”며 “천연화장품을 넘어 내 가족이 사용하는 제품을 만든다는 마음으로 목표와 노력을 멈추지 않고 신생기업을 넘어 충북도내에 강소기업으로 나아가겠다”는 포부를 밝혔다.
